Can you believe it?
It's been 4 months since you
set your 2009 intentions!
It's a great time to check
in and see how you're doing
with them.
Back in January, I shared
with you that one of my
intentions was to help more
people live abundantly this
year than ever before, and
I'm thrilled to report that
I'm meeting that intention!
And in giving to more people
every day, I'm also
receiving so much in return.
It really is true -- giving
others what they want
is the best way to get what
you want!
Are you paying
attention to the
opportunities and resources
that have come your way to
help you meet your
goals? One of the
great opportunities people
have right now is to decide
what's most important to
them. People are
slowing down a bit and
taking stock. And
you're much more likely to
notice the opportunities
around you when you're in
this state.
Everything you want comes
to you through
people. So, who has
shown up in your
life this year to help you
fulfill your 2009
intentions? A new
friend? A coworker?
A teacher? A coach?
Know that the people and
resources that you need to
reach your intentions are
there if you choose to
see them.
This is also a good time
to determine how passionate
you are about the intentions
you set earlier this year.
I see many people set goals
and then continue to try to
reach them even after they
no longer make sense for
them. We become
"married" to the promise we
made rather than remembering
the original
purpose of the goal -- which
was to enhance our lives or
the lives of others in some
way.
Are the people you've
chosen as your
accountability partners this
year working out for you?
Are you checking in with
them regularly to tell them
how you're doing?
Most importantly, this is
the perfect time to
celebrate what you've
already accomplished this
year. Remembering to
do this is what energizes us
to create even more!
Celebrating can be as simple
as taking some time to sit
and feel good and grateful
about what you've done, or
as fancy as rewarding
yourself with a nice gift or
trip.
I would like to celebrate
by thanking you for
allowing me to give to you
through this newsletter, my
workshops, and my coaching
programs. I am truly
honored to serve you!
Your Two-Week Action
Plan:
- Take some time over
the next two weeks to
revisit your 2009
Intentions.
- Celebrate what
you've already
accomplished!
- Make a commitment to
notice when people and
resources that can help
you achieve your goals
appear. And to step
into those opportunities
when they arrive!
