My Coaching and Training Philosophy

Whether I’m providing individual coaching or providing an empowerment workshop, my philosophy is the same: My job is to help people find their own best answers. I help people clarify what their own values and goals are, and then assist them in creating action plans to achieve those goals.

My Clients

My clients are successful, high-achieving professionals who want to move to the next level in their lives – whatever that might mean to them. For some, this might mean achieving more balance. For others, it might mean making an important career decision. And for some, it might mean determining how they can create a more joyful and prosperous life. I help my clients determine exactly what their goals are, why they haven’t already reached them, and using their own unique talents and skills, take actions to reach those goals.

My Training and Background

I’m an IPEC Certified Empowerment Coach, Coach U Certified Coaching Clinic facilitator, and am working toward International Coach Federation Accreditation. I’ve been a private coach since March 2006. Prior to that, I was a Leadership Development Coach at State Farm Insurance. In that role, I coached Managers of all levels.

I spent most of my 16 years with State Farm Insurance in the Learning & Development and Public Affairs areas. Prior to State Farm I provided drug prevention counseling and education at Project Oz in Bloomington, Illinois. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Psychology.

I’ve been training and facilitating for over 20 years. My specialty has always been creating and providing workshops that are highly interactive – again, honoring the fact that people truly have their own best answers and solutions inside of them – my job is to help them uncover those answers.
