The AHCA National Coursing Trial was held at George Park in Richmond Texas. The setting was beautiful, with the green mossy type grass and large old Pecan trees everywhere. We found the park housed an abused dog that lived in a drain pipe for over a year, which the parks and rec guys obviously fed daily. He never bothered us. It also housed in places, several armies of red ants, which a few of us unfortunately found out, can bite really hard! Sand spurs (which also bite really hard) were in abundance and were like magnets to Afghan feet and hocks. The weather once again held out and was perfect for this event.
