APPLICATION FOR KAYEKIDS STANDARD POODLE PUPPY

Please be aware that I sell all my dogs under AKC Limited Registration.  The dog is
to be spayed or neutered at an appropriate age.  If you are looking for a show
dog with the idea of breeding at some point, there are several restrictions that
will be included in the contract.  The first is that the dog will be co-owned by
me until the dog has passed all of its testing at the age of two.  After all testing
requirements have been fulfilled, the dog will be assessed for its conformational quality to be bred.  

The first breeding will be done under my supervision and selection of stud.  I will receive two puppies from
this first litter, first and third pick puppies.  All puppies that are produced
by this dog over the life of its breeding career will be sold on spay/neuter contracts
and AKC Limited Registrations, with the exception of the ones kept by the owner/breeder
for his/her sole use.  This dog will never be used to breed to any other breed of
dog than a Poodle. These same restrictions apply regardless of which dog registry you choose. 

 If any form of deception is used to register this dog to allow for full breeding rights under another registry than AKC, you will be liable for legal action.

There are many health issues plaguing Standard Poodles today.  Breeders must be
aware of these health issues and make every attempt to breed wisely and not create
more problems than we have now.  If you are not aware of these concerns, please
visit Poodle Club of America website.  Visit the health issues section and start
reading.  The Poodle Health Registry is an open database of dogs who have health
issues.  There is the k9Addisons list that has Standard Poodles listed with Addison's
disease, one of the biggest problems facing Standards right now.  Another good site
to read is Versatility in Poodles.  They address all the testing that should be
done on all breeding stock as well as talk about health issues and various fun things
to do with your Poodle.

I reserve the right to not sell any dog, puppy or adult, to anyone who does not meet the criteria I have established for qualified and responsible dog ownership.  I do not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, or color.
