At Qamari we firmly believe that much of the strength of a breeding program lies with the girls. We have been very lucky to have had an unbroken line of very successful bitches, both in the show ring and in the whelping box.

Ch Qamari's Charming Alibi "Tigris"
Tigris is our foundation bitch. She was out of our top performance bitch and our first Afghan Hound, Ben Zari's Dusty Dawn UD, LCM. Sirsa attained the highest titles in both Obedience and Lure Coursing and was in both top ten rankings for several years. Tigris was a conformation group winner and the dam of 15 American Champions including four Specialty Best in Show winning sons. She is also the dam of Ch Qamari's Flying Colors, the top producing Afghan Hound in the US for five years in a row.
